Staff Changes At Craft Crentral

Our Craft Central team is getting bigger. Please read a few words about our new starters from the Chair of Trustees.

Louisa Pacifico

I am delighted to announance on behalf of the Trustees that Louisa will be joining us at Chief Executive on the 3rd August '15.

Louisa has been Head of Sales and Marketing as Clerkenwell Design Week and was previously with Upper Street Events supporting New Designers.

She is well known in the industry for her many successes with high quality and high impact events and her passion for design and making. We have recruited Louisa with her great understanding of the design world to bring her talents to building the Craft Central brand, supporting our craftspeople and developing the projects, events,  partnerships and corporate relationships that are essential to our future.

Paul Hart

Paul joined us in early May as Facilities Manager with a remit to bring a professional approach to facilities management and is looking after the buildings and all buildings related issues. Paul oversees legal matters related to the buildings and the health and saftey of people who work visit us. He manages sub contractors and the letting of studios and liases with licensees and hirers of exhibition nad other spaces on all facilities related maintenance and mangement issues. He is also deputy to the Chief Executive and leading on internal systems and administration including IT.

Letisha Vilkhu

Letisha has recently joined as the Office Administrator. Initially she is concentrating on our administration systems and processes and will work with the consultants we are using to improve our databases and develop a much better website.

Letisha has been studying Computer Science as Aston University. She has extensive experience of a number of software programs and of website development and social media. She also brings small business skills from the creative world through her invlovement in the family designer wear business.

 

Furthermore, Peter Cload has been greatly improving our accounting processes and reducing the amount of time these take. He will continue to work with us as Financial Manager one day a week, normally Tuesday.

Emily Mackillop will continue part time with book keeping, working mostly from home but coming in on Tuesdays. She is currently concentrating on her exquisite embroided portraits and will be exhibiting in the Showcase in October.

Claire Murray will be working closely with Louisa involved in events and exhibitions, projects etc.

 

 

New Designers offer for Craft Central Network members

We are pleased to be able to offer Craft Central Network members a special ticket offer from New Designers. The upcoming event Business Design Centre is an important exhibition for emerging design. Part 1 is 24 - 27 June and Part 2 the week after 01 - 04 July.
