She is a self taught creative artist living in London. Her main interests are creating mixed media collages and individually hand crafted greeting cards. She makes collages and abstract pieces using a mixed media such as acrylic paint, recycled paper and other materials that she finds interesting. She draws her inspirations from nature. Also as a passionate dancer she likes to incorporate movement into her art work.
She started exploring textures, colours and different recycled materials for her hand crafted greeting cards collection in early 2001 when she took a sabbatical from work as a scientist and began a new life in Costa del Sol in southern Spain.
Despite having no formal training in fine arts the public found her work original, fresh and different to what was offered in the market. As a result she had a number of commissioned works as well as an exhibition in a local art gallery.
Her inspirations come from the rich, vivid colours and textures of nature. Her work is fascinated by the interplays of colour, light and movement. Since returning to the UK in late 2004, she has expanded her work to larger size collages and abstract art pieces where she uses mixture of materials to add depth to her work and enhancing it with subtle touches of silver and golden fibres.
As an experienced dancer and choreographer she likes to bring movement into her pieces and the impressions of all the joy around us; the joy which is seen and felt by our senses.
She has held three exhibitions during the last 2 years, one of which was a solo one at Ripley Arts Centre, Bromley- Kent, and an earlier one as part of Vital Arts yearly exhibition organised by the Arts Organisation of the Barts and the London NHS Trust. The latest exhibition was held at the end of November 2010 at Bromley Educational and Environmental centre in High Elms Country Park which was organised by Bromley Art Society.
Currently, Moneh is in the process of preparing for another exhibition for Spring/Summer of 2011.
