Kate Clarke is a London based designer who creates a unique range of hand screen-printed home ware products. Her fresh, bold and colourful designs have a contemporary feel with a retro twist.
Her work is originally created by cutting out various paper shapes which she then uses to design unique patterns and illustrations.
Kate’s work reflects her love of textile and pattern design. She is particularly influenced by Scandinavian, Japanese and 1950’s textiles.
She has always had a passion for product and packaging design and has worked as a book cover designer for 10 years. During this time she has dedicated her evenings and weekends to producing her first range of products.
The materials she uses are sourced from the UK, are of high quality and environmentally friendly where possible.
