Having graduated in 2002 with a first class honours degree from Kent Institute of Art and Design Hannah went on to do a post graduate residency at Bishopsland Workshops, Reading. It was whilst at Bishopsland that she was able to explore and experiment with the elements of metal work that interest her most; surface textures and tactile forms.
Inspired these and the delicate structures found in the natural world Hannah creates sculptural jewellery and silversmithing.
Working in precious metals such as Silver and 18ct Gold Hannah’s jewellery comprising of hand pressformed and individually fabricated units combined with subtle surface textures and contrasting finishes to create unique pieces of fine jewellery. In her most recent range the inside of each dome has been etched, creating a tactile and unique surface.
Hannah supplies a number of galleries around the UK, including Studio Fusion, London, Mari Thomas Jewellery, Swansea, Ruthin Craft Centre and Kath Libbert Jewellery, Saltaire.
She also works to commission creating individual pieces to suit clients requirements.
