Craft Central

Elinor began selling her intricate textile jewellery upon graduating in 2009 with a first class degree in knitted textiles.

Her graduate collection of statement necklaces received much acclaim and has led Elinor to set up her own business selling large statement pieces as well as smaller more everyday wear items.

All of the work is designed and made by Elinor in her studio in London.  The jewellery pieces are mostly made using the same fine-gauge machine knitting  techniques used by the fashion industry, along with fabric manipulation techniques that Elinor has developed herself.  The fascination with embedding metal elements into delicate fabric and how this changes the feel and weight of the piece is a constant theme in her work.

She is passionate about creating pieces that people will treasure not only because they make them feel glamorous but also for their craftsmanship and wonderful colour.
